Charlie Fuller

Retired Special Agent, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms. Charlie, who is a U. S. Army veteran, has 27 years of law enforcement experience with expertise in undercover, electronic surveillance and training. He was a Program Manager at the ATF National Academy for six years. He was responsible for the Undercover and Field Operations Training Programs. He is the author of The Art of Undercover: Techniques and Survival, a complete “how to” work undercover textbook. Charlie currently presents undercover and survival techniques and tactical training programs nationwide and has trained over 19,000 undercover officers. Charlie is also a founder and the Executive Director of the International Association of Undercover Officers.

GUY DANIELS

Det. Guy Daniels, who is a U. S. Army veteran, is a nineteen-year veteran with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, with over fifteen years’ experience as a narcotics detective. Guy started his narcotics career with street-level tactical units where he participated in several hundred undercover operations over a fifteen-year narcotics career. During this time, he participated in several long-term undercover operations and was asked to join the DEA as a task force officer. Guy is a member of the Clandestine Laboratory Entrance Team as a certified site safety officer and is tasked with Meth related training for the department.

MELANIE JONES

Det. Melanie Jones is a ten-year veteran with the Houston Police Department, with over six years’ experience as a vice investigator. She has a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from Texas A&M University and a Master’s in Criminal Justice Leadership from Sam Houston University. Det. Jones started her vice career with general operations, where she participated in several hundred undercover operations encompassing prostitution, liquor, and gambling complainants within city of Houston. During this time, she saw a need to attack the demand side of prostitution to affect the growing level of Human Trafficking within the city. She developed and implemented a decoy school aiming to educate female officers on conducting safe undercover operations while simultaneously building a solid case for prosecution. Approximately one hundred female officers inside and outside the Houston Police Department have been trained in uniformity by Det. Jones. Det. Jones holds several departmental awards for operations in which she participated. Det. Jones implemented a reverse decoy operation that was called “the most successful operation in terms of arrests in 2017” in the Houston Police Department. The department also awarded Det. Jones with an “Award of Excellence” for innovative operations to proactively target pimps in decoy operations. As such, Det. Jones was recently asked to join Houston Police’s elite Human Trafficking Unit, where she currently focuses on reactive and proactive operations targeting pimps in and around the city of Houston.
